Every passenger is going to be checked at various places to prevent the spread of infection before entering Haridwar Ganga Ghats. People are coming from outside of Uttarakhand for them randomly testing is going on at 72 Ganga Ghats. 10 to 11 private labs are testing from the health department but now 14 more labs will work for Kumbh Mela 2021 at Haridwar.
Every day 20 thousand people are checked in which 18 thousand are travelers. Travelers are increasing in Haridwar because of the upcoming Shahi Snan on 12 May & 14 May 2021. So, now random Covid-19 checking has been started.
