This ashram is one of the most famous ashram in all over India, it contains 1000 rooms. Parmarth Niketan ashram provide daily yoga classes and excellent services to the travelers. It also offers yoga courses for teachers and includes two yoga classes every day, the evening Ganga aarti of parmarth niketan is considered as the popular one.
2. Sivananda Ashram
Sivananda ashram provide free yoga classes every day to the travelers who really need to do yoga at least once in month to improve health and to relaxe mind from day to day activities. It was founded by the Swami Sivananda and Sivananda ashram is positioned near Ram Jhula.
3. Omkarananda Ganga Sadan
Omkarananda Ganga Sadan ashram is situated at Muni-ki-reti area near Ganges river. It offers daily yoga classes, the yoga place is very neat and clean and also provide the excellent view of Ganga which attracts more and more people but this ashram remains close on Sunday. For doing yoga in this ashram the travelers have to do the booking in advance at least before one month.
4. Yoga Niketan
Yoga Niketan was founded by Swami Yogeshwaranand in the year of 1964. This ashram is considered as one of the special ashram among all the ashram’s, as it is free from pollution and noise, so more concentration can be given towards yoga. The yoga Niketan was mainly established for the students and they should stay there at least for 15 days to complete the course.
5. Swami Dayananda Ashram
Swami Dayananda Ashram was established by the famous yoga teacher Swami Dayananda in the year of 1960 and he carry out all the yoga classes himself and the booking for yoga classes is done in advance due to the limited area of the ashram.
