With the opening of the two doors of Haridwar Uttarakhand, the arrival of passengers has started coming from the outer regions. After four months of recession, the roar has returned to the bazar. A lot of passengers are seen on the Ghats of Ganga. There is a crowd in Dharmashalas and ashrams.
All the gates of Char dham (Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath) are now open. Travelers already start to come here for Chardham Yatra. Thought that only after the summer vacation in schools, the journey of Chardham Yatra would continue. But this time it did not happen, as the journey started, many devotees for Chardham reached Haridwar. On Wednesday, many pilgrims from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan reached Haridwar. Over the weekend, the vehicle’s pressure has increased. It is known that a recession begins in Haridwar early in the winter. Saints of the ashram are going to other states. Before the pilgrimage, the number of passengers increased in the ashram and Dharamshala. The hotel has already started booking.
People in colonies grew up in trouble
With the commencement of the journey, the problems of the colony also started increasing. The pilgrims who come to the outer territories park their vehicles on the streets of the colonies. Vehicles are parked at places like Bhimgoda, Bharatmatapuram, Ganga Vihar, Khadkhadi, Bhaghutawala Bagh etc. In such a situation, it becomes difficult for people to get out. Highway-made service road also has become a parking lot, which is causing problems of jam across the city. Uttarakhand Congress Party State Secretary JP Pandey expressed resentment at turning the auditorium complex in ruins located near the Bhaghutawala Bagh in the parking lot.
Illegal vehicles assembled
A large number of passengers are being transported from private vehicles during the Chardham yatra. Most of these vehicles are from external territories. Private numbers of vehicles in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab are being used as taxis. From private vehicles, the government is lent to the revenue. Taxi owners have to bear the loss due to these vehicles.
