It is big day for Rishikesh public when Uttarakhand Chief Minister has dedicated Janki Setu to the public on 20th November 2020 at the day of Chhath Puja. There is relief for Haridwar, Rishikesh and other people on building Janki Setu. This bridge is not for four-wheeler vehicle it is just optional walking bridge same as Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh. In peak season of tourists visiting Rishikesh in huge scale and often big crowds can be seen and now it is very good news in creation of Janki Setu which is great suspension bridge over The River Ganges Rishikesh.

About Janki Setu Bridge

It is total of 346 meter long pedestrian bridge near Kailash Gate in Rishikesh. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat carried out terrestrial inspection on it and said this Bridge not connected two side of River Ganges but also connect with the emotion and love of people. Janki Setu will be new attraction as well as suspension bridge in Rishikesh which will attract to tourists and devotees.
