At this very moment the Lord Narayan came infront of Gayasur and there a fight was happened between both of them, in that fight when Lord Narayan took his mace to attack Gayasur, gayasur used kamalasan in defence of himself. in this, the kamalasan was broken into three parts. All the three parts were felt in different areas as one of them was fallen in haridwar, where the Narayani shila temple was established after.
