Pilgrims from all over the world attend the legendary Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand. Beginning their Chardham Package Tour from Haridwar and Rishikesh, foreign pilgrims from 78 countries have arrived in Akshaya Tritiya. This is confirmed by the registration of the photo. Trilok Prem Ananth, Regional Manager of the Security System, who is handling the photo registration, said it is just the beginning of Chardham yatra since May 2007.
He reported that the register of photo registration in Uttarakhand is being done in eight places. This includes BTC Rishikesh campus, Rahi Motel Haridwar, Haridwar train station, Dobaata, Heena, Fata, Sonprayag, Pandukeshwar.
Pilgrims arriving most from these five countries.
He said that thousands of pilgrims are arriving at the site for registration every day. He said that so far 4412 pilgrims from 78 countries have registered here.
The number of pilgrims who reach the maximum number of pilgrims from five countries for Chardham Yatra. Among them Nepal is at the top. 1316 from Nepal, 72 from the United States, 43 from the United Kingdom, 36 from Mauritius, 28 from Mauritania have been registered so far.
Apart from this, 12-12 pilgrims from Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, San Marino, Taiwan, Russia have arrived. Prem Ananth, regional manager of Trilok Security System, said that the pilgrims from total number of 78 countries has reached here.
