The world-famous Blossoms Valley, the “Valley of the Flower“, where unique variety of Flowers can be seen, will open from June 1, 2019, where the number of tourists will be decided before going.

The number of tourists will be determined and decided to visit UNESCO’s world heritage site – for Valley of Flowers trek. Only after getting the permission from the forest department of Uttarakhand, tourists can visit this beautiful destination. Due to being an area sensitive to ecology, how many tourists will visit at the same time, the forest department needs to decide the number of tourists to visit there. Instructions have been issued to the local administration from Tourism Department to provide better facilities for tourists visiting the Valley of Flowers. With the beginning of Chardham Yatra in the state, the tourist movement will begin in June in this World Heritage Valley. For this, the tourism department has completed the preparations.

The tourism secretary, Dilip Javalkar, said that the Valley of Flowers is in an ecological zone. Only the permission of the forest department will allow tourists to enter the Valley of Flowers. How many tourists will visit at the same time, their number will also be determined by the forest department.

This valley is internationally recognized, through which flowers are the center of attraction for tourists from India and abroad. Also on this occasion, it is expected that the number of tourists going to the valley will increase in the same way as the increase of travelers each year. Advertising is being distributed by the tourism department through social networks. Secretary Javalkar says it is our effort not to damage the tourist environment that comes in the valley of flowers. How to reach Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers is not associated with any motorized street. The closest destination which is associated with the nearby places is Govindghat (near Joshimath), which is about 17 km from Valley of Flowers. This separation can be covered by the trekking. As you approach Gangharia (which is approximately 3 km from the valley), the scent of the flowers start to attracts you. Guests must take a license from Ghangaria to enter the Valley of Flowers. The license is for 3 days and you can walk alone during the day. Reaching Joshimath is not an hard task, as it is directly connected with the rest of places in Uttarakhand and New Delhi.
